IT Company To Expand, Add 120 Jobs In Tysons
The expansion will double the company's workforce in Tysons.
TYSONS, VA—Information technology company Zantech IT Services, Inc. will expand in Tysons, doubling its workforce with 120 new jobs. The company, which provides technology solutions to the federal government and industry, will invest $317,853 to expand corporate offices.
"Virginia’s proximity to the customers we serve makes this the ideal location for our headquarters office," said Zantech CEO Zia Islam in a statement. "It is also a wonderful place to live, which is why over 80 percent of our employees who work in Virginia also live in Virginia."
Founded in 2007, the minority-owned company has balanced rapid growth with providing clients with solutions. The company's professional services span the full IT lifecycle, focusing on program support, applications development, systems operations and maintenance. While it competes globally, Zantech does much of its work from the Tysons headquarters.

The company also works on mentoring and education initiatives for disadvantaged youth, wounded warriors, and veterans.
Virginia competed with DC Maryland, and West Virginia for Zantech's expansion, according to a news release from the governor's office.

"Zantech’s decision to double its workforce in Fairfax County is another exciting step forward for the Commonwealth’s booming IT industry, which boasts the third-highest concentration of high-tech workers in the United States," said Secretary of Commerce and Trade Brian Ball. "With support from the region’s robust higher education network, Zantech will create 120 new jobs in , and will equip our citizens with critical skills for the 21st century."
