McLean Day Returns For 109th Year May 17-18 At Lewinsville Park

McLean Community Center is hosting the 109th annual McLean Day festival, featuring music, rides, food and fun at Lewinsville Park.

MCLEAN, VA — McLean Community Center is once again presenting the McLean Day celebration at Lewinsville Park on Friday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18.

In 1915, the McLean School and Civic League celebrated the first McLean Day as a school and community fundraiser at the Franklin Sherman School. Community groups then kept the annual event going until the MCC began hosting the festival in 1988 at its current home of Lewinsville Park, which is located at 1659 Chain Bridge Road in McLean.

McLean Day begins on Friday, May 17, with an expanded T.G.I.F. Carnival Rides event from 2-10 p.m. On Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy a full day of fun, including music, rides and a beer garden.
