Sweetgreen’s First East Coast Sweetlane Is Opening In McLean
Sweetgreen will open its first East Coast sweetlane this week at Chesterbrook Shopping Center in McLean with giveaways and pop-ups.
McLEAN, VA — Sweetgreen will open its first East Coast “sweetlane,” Thursday, at Chesterbrook Shopping Center in McLean.
The restaurant, located at 6220 Old Dominion Drive, will be the salad chain’s fourth location to feature a dedicated drive-thru pickup lane. Customers may place orders through Sweetgreen’s app or website and retrieve their meals from the lane.
The McLean restaurant will also offer dine-in seating and traditional in-store pickup.

Sweetgreen’s menu includes salads, warm bowls, plates and wraps. Among the selections are the Harvest Bowl, Crispy Rice Bowl and Omega Glow, a permanent menu item made with miso-glazed salmon and miso sesame ginger dressing.
Through Monday, customers may also order the limited-time Sweetgreen x Fishwife Summer Niçoise, which includes Fishwife albacore tuna with Spanish lemon.

Sweetgreen will mark the opening with giveaways from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday while supplies last. Customers who purchase a salad, bowl, plate or wrap may receive flowers from Calluna Flower Truck or cookies from For Cups Sake.
The cookies will be distributed from Sweetgreen’s green vintage Ford Bronco.
