MYS Collecting Donations for Homestretch

As we prepare for the holiday season, McLean Youth Soccer is very grateful for the support of our members, staff, and community partners. Now, we are especially eager to give back to the community.

Located just 10 minutes from Lewinsville Park, Homestretch provides housing and support services for homeless families with children. Through a series of comprehensive programs of job counseling, family mentoring, and children's programs, Homestretch provides skills, knowledge, and most importantly, hope -- all necessary for these families to attain permanent housing and become productive participants in the community. With your help, McLean Youth Soccer is collecting supplies for these homeless families at Homestretch. This year, we are specifically collecting the following 3 items:

• Adult Hats or Gloves (new)
• Women's Deodorant
• Dish Soap

A drop off donation box will be placed at Westbriar Elementary School (1741 Pine Valley Dr, Vienna) during MYS Ballmasters this Sunday, December 17 between 12:30-4:30 pm. If you would like to contribute, but are unable to drop off at those times and locations, please email melissa.riemer@mcleansoccer.org to arrange a pick up at your home.
