New Langley Principal: 'I'm Glad to be a Principal at One of the Best Schools' (Video)
New Langley High School principal Fred Amico introduced himself to Fairfax County residents with this minute-long video.
Fred Amico is entering his 31st year working with Fairfax County Public Schools and his eighth as an administrator at Langley High School in McLean.
But this year is different for Amico as he prepares to take on his largest role yet: Principal at LHS.
With school now less than a month away, FCPS released a one-minute video in which Amico introduces himself to the community and expresses his excitement to begin a new chapter at Langley.

“We have a phenomenal staff that’s interested in the kids, and our students are also equally phenomenal,” Amico said in the video. “... I grew up here, I was educated here, and I’m glad to be a principal at one of the best in one of the best counties in the state.”
