Pest Control Device Over Food Prep Area: McLean Restaurant Violations

MCLEAN, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from August inspections in McLean, Vienna, Falls Church and Tysons. Among the violations was a pest control device hanging over a food prep area at a McLean McDonald's. The restaurant is following with a pest control service. This violation was corrected during the inspection.
