Retired McLean Pastor Found Dead At Great Falls Park

U.S. Park Police believe the man fell onto the rocks at Great Falls Park.

MCLEAN, VA — A retired McLean pastor was identified as the person found dead at Great Falls Park on Saturday, Aug. 24.

Kayakers found the body, leading U.S. Park Police to determine the man fell from the rocks. The man was identified as Russell Eugene Larkin, 77, who was pastor of Chesterbrook United Methodist Church before he retired three years ago, according to the Washington Post.
