Stomping Ground To Open In Tysons Galleria
The Del Ray-based restaurant is expanding into the former Isabella Eatery space.

TYSONS, VA—Stomping Ground, a restaurant serving biscuits, coffee and other items in Del Ray, will open in Tysons Galleria, owner Nicole Jones announced. The eatery's second location will be in the former Isabella Eatery food hall.
Jones told Northern Virginia Magazine she was offered one space in the 41,000-square foot last week. She added that multiple businesses will fill the food hall, which started as a nine-concept Isabella Eatery.
Stomping Ground will serve up coffee from Falls Church’s Rare Bird Coffee Roasters and DC's Lost Sock Roasters, as well as nitro coffee on tap. Guests should expect many of the offerings from the Del Ray location.

Isabella Eatery suddenly closed in August following reports of the food hall struggling. The food hall, which had opened in late 2017, felt the ramifications of a sexual harassment lawsuit from one of Mike Isabella's former employee. Isabella filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September.
