Weekend: Get Away on a Moonlit Zipline in Middleburg

Looking to get away, but not too far away? Starting Friday, May 1, Empower Adventures at Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg will lead zip tours through a 20-acre canopy course as guests feel the rush of five zip lines and the excitement of the course’s suspension bridges in the dark.

Using head lamps and lanterns to navigate the course, Empower guides will lead guests throughout the journey as they experience the nocturnal animal habitats of Northern Virginia from the tree tops.

Cost is $175 per person and tour length is approximately two hours.

Dates and times available:

• May 1–2: 7:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
• May 22-24: 8:15 p.m.
• June 5-6: 8:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
• July 1-4: 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
• July 31-Aug 1: 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
• Aug 28-29: 8:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
• Sep 25-26: 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
• Nov 27-28: 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
