Wegmans Looking for Tysons Location: Report

Where in the Tysons area do you think the perfect spot would be for the mega-popular grocery chain?

Super store Wegmans is looking for the perfect location in the Tysons area, according to a report by Washington Business Journal.

Wegmans also hasn’t given up on Tysons Corner after negotiations with Cityline Partners to open a store at the Scotts Run Station South project stopped abruptly last fall, the business paper reported.

The company is actively looking for other spots to open in Tysons, though nothing has yet emerged, Wegmans spokeswoman Jo Natale told the paper. Read the entire WBJ story here.

The company is prepping its newest Virginia store, in the Kingstowne area, for a grand opening in June. It also has locations in Sterling, Fairfax, Gainesville and Woodbridge.
