August is Immunization Awareness Month, and Fairfax County officials are reminding families to make sure vaccines are up to date. 

Vaccines are available through your doctor or a Fairfax County Health Department clinic. All this month and next, health department clinics are operating on extended hours to accommodate students seeking free school-required immunizations.
