Enjoy Live Music at the Smart Markets Reston Farmers' Market

Smart Markets Reston, Reston’s guaranteed producer-only farmers’ market, invites you to visit the market at 12001 Sunrise Valley Dr. Wednesday, June 12, for delicious dining and great live music.

Starting at 5 p.m., local jazz group The Lena Seikaly Trio will perform loved and lost tunes from the ’20s and ’30s. Vocalist Seikaly has been called “one of the local jazz scene’s most promising performers” by The Washington Post. She will perform selections from her new album, Looking Back, supported by guitarist Geoff Reecer and bassist Eric Harper. For a preview, visit her website.

While enjoying the music, also partake of the offerings of Fat and Happy BBQ, the Crepe Amour Food Truck and the Chef on Wheels Food Truck, all of whom will also feature dishes for children and vegetarians as well as their usual fare. Also for youngsters, Whim Pops, a local vendor of delicious frozen treats, will offer a craft class starting at 3:30 p.m. And our regular lineup of vendors will be on hand with delicious fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, eggs, baked goods, prepared foods and more.
