Elementary Students Enjoy Assistance League's Library Event

Colorful Thank You Notes Express Students' Appreciation

Students at Pine Spring Elementary School in Falls Church were excited to participate recently in selecting a new book. We don't know who had more fun, the children who got to choose a book of their own, or the Assistance League of Northern Virginia (ALNV) volunteers who provided the books and watched as they made their choices. Pine Spring Elementary School is a Title 1 school with approximately 640 students from Pre-K through 6th grade. Every student at the school went home with a new book through the ALNV "Build a Child's Library" event.
