Celebration of Libraries, Women's Clubs and Florence Jodzies

Vale Club and Oakton Women’s Club invite the public to a celebration of “Libraries, Women’s Clubs and Florence Jodzies.”  The gathering will conclude with the unveiling of a state historic highway marker honoring Mrs. Jodzies, the founder of Vale Club.

Vale Schoolhouse is at the corner of Vale and Fox Mill Roads; the parking lot is off Vale Road. Additional parking is across the street at Vale United Methodist Church, 11528 Vale Road.  The Schoolhouse is at the top of a small gravel hill and sturdy footwear is recommended. The highway marker is at the northwest corner of Fox Mill Road and Helmont Drive. Parking for the marker unveiling is on Saddle Crescent Circle.
