Fairfax County, Local Realty Companies to Take Part in Northern Virginia Housing Expo

Fairfax County, as well as local realty companies such as Long and Foster and Keller Williams, will take part in the 2013 Northern Virginia Housing Expo this weekend in Falls Church. 

Fairfax County will have an exhibit at the event, showcasing the benefits of living in Fairfax County. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, located at 7130 Leesburg Pike.

The housing expo showcases home ownership and rental opportunities and resources in Northern Virginia and will include workshops, exhibits and more. A full list of exhibitors and the event schedule can be found at www.NoVaHousingExpo.org. Workshops are free and refreshments will be available on site. 

This is the third annual Northern Virginia Housing Expo, which rotates locations throughout the area each year. Last year's event included more than 60 exhibitors and won an award for "best government initiative" from the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers. 

The Northern Virginia Housing Expo is hosted by Fairfax nonprofit AHOME, in cooperation with the Virginia Housing Development Authority, the cities of Alexandria, Manassas and Falls Church, the counties of Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun, and the town of Herndon.
