Meditation Practices (Beginning Sept. 7)
Learn all about meditation: what it is (and is not), several different practices, and how to build your own meditation practice!
Practicing meditation allows us to make contact with our true, Divine selves. It helps us to break through the clutter and chaos created by thoughts, behaviors, and our day-to-day human existence. At its core, its experiential; it does less good to talk about meditation than to actually do it.
Whether you are a beginning meditator or someone who's been meditating for years, this course will explore how you can meditate in order to realize the infinite ground of your being and make contact with your Spiritual selves.
In this course, we will:

- Examine what meditation is (and is not)
- Explore how you can meditate in order to realize the infinite ground of your being
- Discuss benefits of meditation
- Introduce several different meditation practices to include:
1. Centering prayer
2. Mindfulness meditation
3. Mantra
4. Walking meditation
5. And many others.
The goal of these practices is to find several (or even just one) practices that you resonate with and are able to duplicate on your own. Part of the course is developing your own daily practice and finding ways to commit to it.
