Oakton Gas Stations Burglarized Within 20 Minutes: Police
Police say the suspects pried open the doors, stealing cash, a safe and other items.

OAKTON, VA—Fairfax County Police are investigating two robberies within a half hour at Oakton gas stations Wednesday.
The first happened around 2:40 a.m. at the Sunoco Gas Station, 2961 Hunter Mill Road. Two suspects smashed a pane of glass and pried the door open with a yellow crowbar, police say. Cash and cigarettes were taken. The suspects are described as men wearing all black clothing, black ski-mask-type headgear and black gloves.
20 minutes later, police respond to a burglary, this time at the Exxon Gas Station, 2957 Chain Bridge Road. The suspects had pried open the door and stole a cash register, store safe and cigarettes, surveillance footage showed. They were described as wearing black clothing with hoodies covering their heads and driving a white KIA Sportage.

It is unclear if the incidents are connected. Surveillance footage is not available at this time. Police are actively investigating.
