Oakton Otter Divers Excel at Division 4 Dive Meet

Fifteen Otter divers competed in the Division 4 dive meet on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Oakton Swim and Racquet Club.  Two Otter divers placed first in their respective categories, qualifying them to compete in the All-Star meet on Sunday, August 4, 2013: Mackenzie Brennan in Junior Girls with a score of 113.00 and Elana Colbert in Intermediate Girls with a score of 145.25.  Two Otter divers placed third in their respective categories, qualifying them to be an alternate in the All-Star meet: Brad Burgeson in Intermediate Boys and AJ Colbert in Senior Girls.  The other Otter divers who competed were: Claire Newberry (Freshman Girls, fifth), Lexi Pierce (Freshman Girls, seventh), Haley Liddell (Freshman Girls, thirteenth), Blaise Wuest (Freshman Boys, twelfth),  Kyla Straker (Junior Girls, fifth), Saachi Khurana (Junior Girls, seventh), Kenna Campfield (Junior Girls, eighth), Lindsey Liddell (Junior Girls, ninth), Liam Klopfenstein (Intermediate Boys, fourth), James Crowley (Intermediate Boys, eighth), and Everi Osofsky (Senior Girls, seventh).  An awards ceremony was held after the completion of each event.  Those divers that placed in the top six in their respective categories were recognized with a plaque.  Congratulations to all of the Otter divers for all of their hard work and achievements.
