Oakton Otters Dive Team (3-2) Finishes Second in NVSL Division 3

Oakton Otter divers triumph at Division 3 dive meet bringing home high points for the meet.

Sixteen Otter (Oakton Swim and Racquet Club) divers competed in Divisionals on Sunday (Division 3). The following divers placed first or second and qualified for All-Stars: Katie Vaughan (Junior Girls, second); Sarah Gurley (Intermediate Girls, first); Spencer Dearman (Intermediate Boys, first); and Blaise Wuest (Intermediate Boys, second). The following divers qualified to be alternates at All-Stars: Megan Shipley (Freshman Girls, second alternate); Jon Anthony Montel (Freshman Boys, second alternate); and Liam Klopfenstein (Senior Boys, second alternate). The other Otter divers who competed were: Finn MacStravic (Freshman Boys, fifth); Leo Estes (Freshman Boys, eighth); Landon Nelson (Freshman Boys, eleventh); Christina Angelicchio (Junior Girls, eleventh); Max Messina (Junior Boys, eighth); Molly Estes (Intermediate Girls, sixth); Claire Newberry (Intermediate Girls, ninth); Molly Kenefick (Intermediate Girls, tenth); and Josh Shipley (Intermediate Boys, fifth).

The NVSL Dive All-Stars are Sunday, August 8, 2017, hosted by the Oakton Swim and Racquet Club, Oakton, Virginia.
