Oakton Otters Dive Team Loses to Tuckahoe by Three Points

The Otter Divers lost their final meet of the season last night against Tuckahoe with another very close score (35 to 32), bringing their win-loss record to 1 and 4.  The Otters ended the season in fifth place.  As usual, the Otters had a very strong showing last night, with several divers, who had recently learned new dives, qualifying to "dive up" in the next higher age group!  Four Otter Divers took first place in their respective categories: Mackenzie Brennan in Junior Girls with a score of 120.25, Julia Powell in Intermediate Girls with a score of 131.15, Brad Burgeson in Intermediate Boys with a score of 132.70, and Gil Osofsky in senior Boys with a score of 124.65.  The Otters swept the top three places in Junior Girls, with Kenna Campfield placing second and Kyla Straker placing third.  Other divers who placed were: Claire Newberry (Freshman Girls, second), Blaise Wuest (Freshman Boys, third), Finn MacStravic (Junior Boys, third), and Saachi Khurana (Intermediate Girls, second).
