Oakton Students Named to 2013 All-State Band, Orchestra

One Oakton High School student has been named to the 2013 Virginia All-State Band and two have been named to the 2013 Virginia All-State Orchestra. 

Patrick Holcomb, who plays contra clarinet, has been named to the All-State Band. Viola player Ian Johnson and violinist Irene Lee, have been named to the All-State Orchestra. 

Out of all of Fairfax County Public Schools' students, 75 were named to the Virgnia All-State Band and 56 were named to the 2013 Virginia All-State Orchestra. Both groups will perform the April 4-6 at James Madison University in Harrisonburg.
