Part of an Oakton Road To Close Starting Tuesday (ICYMI)

OAKTON, VA–If you're driving around Oakton during the week, you might want to plan ahead with alternate routes. Miller Road (Route 663) between Westhurst Lane and South Erin Drive in Oakton will be closed to traffic Tuesday, May 16 through Friday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. replace and upgrade a drainage pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Residents, emergency vehicles and school buses will have access to the area, although the point where the pipe is being replaced will be closed off in both directions.

The detour route will run to Route 123, Jermantown Road, Oakton Road and Miller Heights Road and back to Miller Road.
