ValeArts Celebrates 20 years at the Vale Schoolhouse.

ValeArts celebrated 20 years in the community as a fine art event last night at the schoolhouse. Friends, patrons, and neighbors gathered on a cool but festive evening to enjoy the fine art ValeArts has been exhibiting in Oakton since the 1990’s. Many of the group’s former members including Karen Zelnick, Pat Strickler, Betsey Mulloy, Eleanor Wang, and Anna Payne gathered with current “founding mothers” Jenna Klimchak, Linda Lovell, and Diana Eichler. Carmel Belet, Jean Beebe, onstance Fanning, and Marni Maree were unable to join them, but contributed work to the show. The celebration continues Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
