ValeArts Ramping Up for "Artful Aspirations"

Artists prepare for the upcoming show at the Vale Schoolhouse by painting up a storm!

The Artists of ValeArts are bringing you their aspirations and inspirations with the new show opening on September 30 at the Vale Schoolhouse. The group has exhibited there for 20 years, 2016 beginning their 21st year at the site. ValeArts loves Oakton! And from the reception their work has received in the past, Oakton loves its ValeArtists.

Three ValeArtists are founding members: Jenna Klimchak, Linda Lovell, and Diana Eichler. The fact that the work is local ties the community to the show. Deena Hunkler-Sanks is their guest artist from Fairfax. Betsey Mulloy is a returning ValeArtist from Reston. Lorrie Herman, Traci Oberle, Meredith Hannon, Kathy Bodycombe, and Laura Barringer have painted with the group for several years and are all local. As Fall rolls by, look for the red, white and blue "OPEN" sign on the Vale Schoolhouse. And come on in! It is free and we have a Reception Friday night Sept 30 to talk and meet the artists. Welcome Oakton!
