ALEXANDRIA, VA— St. Patrick's Day 2018 falls on a Saturday, which means this year's celebration of Ireland's patron saint might be a wee bit more rowdy.

To help you choose how to spend your St. Patrick's Day, we've rounded up some of the best parties, happy-hours, dinners, parades, and more happening in Alexandria.

Here's where to celebrate in and around Alexandria for St. Patrick's Day weekend:

1. St. Patrick's Day Parade: The parade has been a tradition since the 1980s and is a must-see on King Street. Originally planned for earlier in March, the parade was rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18. Beforehand there will be the Fun Dog Show with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Market Square. 2. Murphy's Grand Irish Pub: Get decked out in green for an all-day party with Irish dancing throughout Saturday and live music at night.

3. Daniel O’Connell’s Irish Restaurant & Bar: The Irish pub regularly offers live music on weekend.

4. Eamonn's: The restaurant will serve up fish & chips, Irish beer & soda, and a fried candy bar all weekend for the holiday.

5. O’Shaughnessy’s Pub: If you want to spend the night out Saturday, catch two musical performers go head-to-head at the pub.

6. Mackie's Bar and Grill: Celebrate the holiday with food and drink specials Saturday at 3 p.m.

7. T.J. Stone's Grillhouse and Taproom: Stop in for Irish food and beverage specials all day Saturday.

8. Cafe 44: Start the day off with brunch, which includes Bangers and Mash along with other favorites on the three-course menu.

9. St Paddy's Pub Crawl Washington D.C.: Enjoy drink specials at various Dupont Circle bars. The full list of participating bars will be distributed at registration at Beacon Bar & Grill by the event staff.

10. Samuel Beckett's Irish Gastro Pub (Shirlington): Doors open at 8 a.m. Saturday for a full day of celebration. Rugby on all day, live music, Boyle school of dancers and more.
