4 Workers Electrocuted At Alexandria Construction Site

Four construction workers were electrocuted while working on a site in Alexandria, according to police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Four workers were electrocuted at a construction site Monday, according to Alexandria Police.

The incident happened around 11:08 a.m. Monday at 6336 Stevenson Avenue. Police say four construction workers were injured by electric shock while working at the site. Three were taken to the hospital. Two had life-threatening injuries and one had non-life-threatening injuries. Another was treated and released at the scene. All workers are now stable.

The incident prompted electrical power to be temporarily shut off at the site. Power has since been restored. Police say the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry has been informed about the incident.
