It may be the dog days of summer, but this week is all about the cats. One of AWLA's adoptable pets is Angel, whose personality matches her name. This sweet senior is shy at first, but it won't take long to warm up.

AWLA continue to offer adoptions by appointment. Virtual and in-person appointments can be made at AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment.

Here's more information about Angel:

Angel, 10-Year-Old, Female, Black and White Short-Haired Cat
Hello! My name is Angel and the name really suits me because I have a heavenly personality! I am a ten-year-old sweetheart of a cat who is looking for a loving home. They say I am a senior but I sure don't feel like one; I still have a lot of pep in my step! I am a little shy when meeting new people, but warm up quickly. I really don't have a lot of interest in toys - I would prefer snuggling with my favorite person. And it's not just my sweet personality that you are going to love - I am one pretty cat with a mostly white coat and beautiful markings. Because I am so calm and easy going I would fit in with a variety of people. So if you think we could be a match, make an appointment to come see. A generous donor has already paid my adoption fee, so I'm ready to go home today!
