Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Young Pit Bull With Puppy Energy

This sweet pit bill is nicknamed Racee because she speeds around like a race car.

If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local rescue group like Operation Paws for Homes. The volunteer group rescues dogs from overcrowded "high-kill" shelters in the southern U.S., primarily in Virginia and North and South Carolina. Operation Paws for Homes then rehabilitates the dogs and places them in loving homes. The group also partners with local humane shelters.

One of their available pets is Eve O'Luiton, also known as Racee, because she runs around like a race car. She's a baby American Staffordshire Terrier and has lots of puppy energy to prove it.

Here's a description of Eve from Operation Paws for Homes:

My name is Eve O'Luiton! My foster mom likes to call me ā€œRaceeā€ because I love racing around like a race car! I am a beautiful Pit Bull around 14-weeks-old.
I am the sweetest thing too. I love giving kisses to everyone!
I love playing, and have tons of puppy energy, and chewing on elk antlers. After I’m done, I love curling up on my dog bed. I am working on my house manners!
Apply to adopt me soon!
