Alexandria Emerging Technology Center Hosts Panel Discussion on Environmentalism, Business Profits

The Washington, D.C. metro area ranks eighth in the nation for highest utility bills, according to Bankrate -- and utility bills are one of the biggest costs for local businesses.
The Alexandria Emerging Technology Center (AETC) http://www.alexandriaetc.org) is hosting a panel discussion and free networking breakfast this Thursday morning, April 9, 7:30-9 a.m., to help local businesses find new, innovative ways to lower utility costs.
The AETC is a new non-profit organization dedicated to connecting local and regional businesses with entrepreneurs, innovators, investors and citizens to improve quality of life by reducing the collective impact on the environment. AETC is based in Old Town Alexandria.

Thursday’s panel discussion and free networking breakfast event is at Tempo Restaurant, 4231 Duke Street in Alexandria. Tempo Restaurant itself was named winner of the Environmental Leader Award of Restaurant Management in 2010 in Alexandria.
The panel discussion will be led by AETC President and Founder Tim Bagley, with panelists Tim Reichert, CEO of EnergySherlock; Russ Horner, President of Water Managment Inc.; and Kim Vandbaek, Executive VP of Mil-tek USA.
