Teen Boy Charged Over Fatal Huntington Stabbing: Police
A 16-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing attack on Saturday.
ALEXANDRIA, VA – A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a slaying in the Huntington area Saturday, according to Fairfax County Police.
The boy was arrested Wednesday and is being held at the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center.
The victim, Auner Chavez Diaz, 19, of Alexandria, was found by officers shortly after 12:15 a.m. on the 2200 block of Farrington Avenue in Huntington. He had been stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police at the time said they believed the victim and the suspected assailant knew each other.
