Alexandria Makes 'Most Unique Cities To Visit In Your 20s' List
Do you think Alexandria is one of the top cities for young adult visitors? A ranking placed it among the likes of New Orleans and Austin.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—Is Alexandria a more worthwhile destination than DC for 20-something globetrotters? The website CarRentals.com seems to think so. Alexandria was ranked seventh among the '20 Most Unique Cities to Visit in Your 20s."
The website's ranking looked beyond expected tourist destinations to find cities that offer young adults valuable life experiences. Criteria for the rankings included a balance of nature and city scenery and a high population of residents in their 20s.

Alexandria was ranked before destinations like San Jose, Napa Valley and Palm Springs, Calif. and Ann Arbor, Mich.
