Alexandria Resident Dies After Crashing Car

ALEXANDRIA, VA—An Alexandria resident died when his car crashed on Van Dorn Street Saturday night.

Around 9:40 p.m., the victim was driving at the 100 block of South Van Dorn Street when his car crash. The crash had minimal damage, but the victim was transported to the hospital.

Zain Siddiqui, 22, was conscious when sent to the hospital, but his condition worsened and he died. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
