Andy's Pizza Opens In Alexandria, Serving Pizza By Slice And Pie
Andy's Pizza, a winner of the International Pizza Challenge, has opened its newest location in Old Town Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Internationally acclaimed pizza has come to Old Town Alexandria with the opening of Andy's Pizza.
Locally-owned Andy's Pizza has gained popularity after first opening in 2018 as part of the Urbanspace food hall inside Tysons Galleria. Since then, it has opened new locations in DC's Shaw, Adams Morgan, NoMa (Streets Market) and Navy Yard (at Atlas Brew Works). Its pizza is also offered at Echo Park next to its Shaw location.
The local pizza shop became known internationally when owner Andy Brown won the traditional pizza category at the International Pizza Expo's International Pizza Challenge in 2021.

Now Andy's Pizza latest venture is its new location at 107 N. Fayette Street in Alexandria, the former location of Meggrolls. Initial hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and lunch will be offered along with a full bar in the future. Delivery is available through Postmates, but pickup is encouraged to avoid delays.
Andy's Pizza serves New York-style pizza by the slice or pie, as well as starters like chicken tenders, wings and salads. A few pizza options include the traditional cheese pizza; white pie with roasted garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, provolone and ricotta; and Diavolo pizza with mozzarella, spicy pepperoni, shaved raw onion, ricotta, Calabrian chilis and fresh basil.
