Armed Robbery of Convenience Store: Alexandria Police Investigating
Police said early Thursday that a convenience store on Jordan Street was robbed at gunpoint overnight.

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating an armed robbery overnight of a convenience store located at S. Jordan and Duke Street in Alexandria.
Police sent out an alert shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday about the robbery.
Two suspects, armed with one gun, robbed the store, according to police. There were no injuries.

The police department requested a helicopter from Fairfax County Police to search for suspects. No description of the suspects was released by police. Police said at 5 a.m. that no suspect was found.
