Bank Robbery Under Investigation in Old Town Alexandria
BREAKING: Alexandria police released a description of the unknown suspect in a bank robbery on Prince Street in Alexandria.
(Updated 3:12 p.m. Wednesday) ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Alexandria Police are investigating a United Bank robbery at 1414 Prince Street.
At 10:59 a.m., an unknown male entered the bank and passed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

The unknown suspect is a tall black male with a thin build. He was wearing a blue shirt, tan pants and a black hat.
Police ask anyone with information to call Detective Michael Whelan at 703-746-6228.
