Best St. Patrick's Day Outfits At The Alexandria Parade

From a kilt-wearing dog to wacky leprechaun hats, Patch saw lots of people and pets decked out in St. Patrick's Day costumes.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The 37th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Alexandria drew an impressive attendance and array of green costumes Sunday. Spectators came decked out in Irish-inspired four leaf clover outfits, leprechaun hats, kilts and much more.

And it wasn't just humans. Numerous people with their dogs showed up to watch or participate in the Fun Dog Show before the parade.

This big Newfoundland dog had big St. Patrick's Day spirit. A Newfoundland rescue group marched in the parade.

Kilts weren't only for people at this parade.

Accessorizing in green was a must.

This little dog sparkled as the sun came out.

There were leprechaun hats of all kinds at the parade.

Others were in full leprechaun mode.
