Blizzard 2016: Tuesday Night Report for Alexandria
Here's a look at where the City stands on clearing the streets, after a snowstorm walloped the area with about 2 feet of snow.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The City of Alexandria reports that as of Tuesday at 7 p.m., crews reported that all primary and secondary routes in the City were passable for emergency vehicles, and 80 percent of residential streets were passable.
The City and other surrounding jurisdictions and residents have been busy digging out from a mega snowstorm that hit the region over the weekend.

The City says to please note: “Passable” streets may have only one lane and may not be cleared curb-to-curb depending on volume of snow, parked vehicles, and equipment needs.
To report a primary or secondary route that is not passable for emergency vehicles, use www.alexandriava.gov/SnowReport.

Property owners and occupants must clear adjacent sidewalks by 9 pm tonight (Tuesday). To report a violation after 9pm, use www.alexandriava.gov/SnowReport.
