Mrs. Bolling said that under her husband’s leadership with Gov. Robert McDonnell, Virginia unemployment has fallen to 5.6 percent in the state. The national unemployment rate remains high at 8.2 percent, a difference in Virginia that Mrs. Bolling attributes to good economic policies. She also said the Republican Party is the party for women, and encouraged all to get involved.
“If you are not already a member of a political club, I encourage you to join the Commonwealth Republican Women’s Club today,” said Mrs. Bolling.
