Help The Art League Downsize at Garage Party on Saturday
This Saturday, there will be a Free-Cycle Garage Party to help prepare for the move to a new classroom space in Old Town.
This fall, is moving classrooms from its Duke Street Annex to its newly renovated building on Madison Street, combining 2-D and 3-D instructional space under one roof in Old Town. This Saturday from 6:00–9:00 pm, there will be a at the old space to help prepare for the move!
The garage sale party includes books, furniture, frames, and other arts odds and ends from the Duke Street building. For a $30 donation, take an all-you-can-carry assortment of things like books, frames, and other oddities. Larger items, like desks, sofas, chairs, easels, and photography equipment, will have price tags. See the photo gallery for some of what will be available.
There will also be a graffiti painting party in the garage, music, and a popcorn machine. All proceeds go to the "30-Something" campaign to fund the build-out project.
