Spring Classes At The Art League School

Artist instructors at The Art League School are sharing tips on painting, drawing, pottery, metalwork, and more.

Looking for a creative outlet? Spring classes for beginners and experts start next month at The Art League School, in everything from painting to pottery.

Art League School classes are taught at the Torpedo Factory on the waterfront and at two annexes on Duke Street and Madison Street. Classes are available on the weekends, in the evenings, or during the week, in addition to shorter-term workshops. Courses are available for all skill levels, and are not-for-credit, so the learning environment is relaxed.

The Art League also operates a gallery at the Torpedo Factory, hosts art-related events throughout the year, sells art supplies through The Art League Store, and conducts community outreach programs such as SOHO.

It's not too late to register! Professional artist instructors teach courses in all media: painting, drawing, photography, fiber arts, jewelry, ceramics, printmaking, and everything in between. You can see some instructors demoing for their classes in the video above, and more classes are posted on YouTube: see this playlist for all the demos so far.

Classes start the week of April 9 — see the full course listing here.
