The Chardonnay Run: Cross the Line, Sip Some Wine

National 5K wine racing series, The Chardonnay Run, is coming to National Harbor, just across the Potomac from Old Town.

The event takes place Sunday, August 30. The run focuses on serving up fun to all its participants with a post-race bash featuring wine, food, live music and more fun festivities.

For running enthusiast and reluctant runners alike, this 5K is a must-do, whatever your fitness level.

Register today to ensure you start with your friends in the time you prefer. Start times are as follows: 9 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10 a.m. Enjoy a glass of wine at the finish line, as well as live music and vendors.

The race is sponsored by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly; registration is $34 to $70 for spectators and racers and increases as the date gets closer.
