Choose Your Empty Bowls: Three Soup Lunches in Three Weeks

Help Capital Area Food Bank fill the bowl for those in need.

Coming this fall: three, count ‘em THREE Empty Bowls events are returning to the Washington metro area.

No matter where you live or work, you can help fill the bowls of our neighbors who are hungry. Here’s how:

Attend one of the three upcoming events, and for a $35 donation you’ll receive a handmade bowl plus unlimited soup, bread and desserts.

All proceeds will go to the Capital Area Food Bank, the largest hunger-relief organization in the Washington metro area. The CAFB feeds 12% of the residents in this area—over 500,000 people–working through about 500 food assistance partner non-profits who provide food from the CAFB as they address the root causes of poverty.
