Coldwell Banker Alexandria Office Presents Donation to Generation Hope

Alexandria Coldwell Banker Office Presents Donation to Local Non-Profit Organization that Serves Area Teens

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage CARES, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, presented a $2,000 donation to Generation Hope, a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit organization that helps teen parents achieve college degrees by connecting them with individualized support through things like mentoring, tuition support and case management. Rachel Carter, Branch Vice President, presented the check to Jesseca Myers, Development and Events Manager of Generation Hope.

The 2017 first quarter gift was one of seven donations totaling $14,000 made to community organizations by the CARES Foundation, which is almost entirely funded by donations from agent commissions and does not pay any salaries or overhead.

“We can’t possibly thank Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage enough for this donation,” said Myers. “Support like this helps us to empower the ambitious, incredible teens we serve, and it’s great to know we have a partner like Coldwell Banker.”
