Target Gallery Reception
Visit Target Gallery from 6-8pm for the reception for Fears & Phobias. Stick around for a talk by juror Lia Newman at 7pm.
The Art League Reception
From 6:30-8pm, The Art League Gallery hosts the reception for the All-Media Membership Exhibit and the 2012 Solo Preview, featuring work by artists that have been selected for solo exhibits in The Art League Gallery for the coming year.

Connectivity Reception
Visit Site 2 & 3 Galleries and Studio 9 from 6-8pm for the reception for Connectivity: Threads of Community, a fiber exhibition that explores the relationships artists create over a lifetime. “Tying” it all together, visitors are invited to view a torpedo yarn installation in the back hallway. Take part in a knitting circle led by TFAA artist, Laura Edwards. We will be knitting small hats to donate to INOVA Alexandria Hospital’s NICU infants.
DIY Snowflakes & Candy Buffet
Unique snowflake creations abound at our popular Do-It-Yourself Snowflake Station, and guests will enjoy a mix of goodies at our candy buffet!
2nd Thursday Art Night is a free monthly event held on the second Thursday of each month at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Visitors are invited to browse open studios, interact with artists, and enjoy refreshments while taking part in special monthly programming and activities.
