Ezibu Muntu Dance Group

Dancers will perform traditional African dances and discuss the role of dance in African cultures.

Ezibu Muntu African Dance and Cultural Foundation is a professional organization of dancers, drummers, entertainers and other individuals that have been dedicated to invoking a better educated positive understanding of African culture, values, traditions and the cultural arts as a whole since 1973.  The group performed to an enthusiastic audience at the Beatley Branch Library in March, and we are pleased to have them for an encore performance at the Barrett Branch Library as part of the All Alexandria Reads programming around the book The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba.

All ages are welcome.
