George Washington Birthday Parade

Celebrate the birthday of George Washingting, Alexandria's favorite son,  with the nation's largest parade honoring the first President. 

There will be nearly 3,500 participants including historical groups, youth from scouting groups and animals. 

The reviewing stand is located near City Hall's Market Square, at the intersection of King and Royal Streets.  The parade starts at Gibbon and S. Fairfax Streets and ends at Wilkes and S. Royal Streets.
