Torpedo Factory painter CMDupré will discuss how time-place as negotiable, flexible, and able, gains content by circulating between contemporary art and its history. Incorporating different modes, alternating hypotheses, fiction, her thesis considers memory and time-lapse, conservation and archival abundance. But potent connections arise from shifts of focus and hybrid lines of an “unfixed history.”
