Shakespeare for Homeschool Students

Participants will be introduced to William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. The class will focus on four basic areas: plot, theme, language, and characterization, all of which will be explored through a series of improvisation exercises, drama games, and scene work. A variety of methods will help students develop and improve public speaking skills and help build confidence and individuality. There will be an opportunity for the students to see a student matinee performance of Much Ado About Nothing at the Shakespeare Theatre in DC at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 15th.
