The Art League’s popular Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser is back for two days in 2012! Join us at Market Square in Old Town Alexandria (at the corner of Fairfax and King Streets) during the Alexandria King Street Art Festival. You can buy one of the 1,000 hand-made bowls created by the talented artists of The Art League’s Ceramics Department, and enjoy local artisan ice cream from Artfully Chocolate in Del Ray – all for only $15 per bowl! The proceeds go to benefit The Art League’s Ceramics program.

As part of the Alexandria Art Experience, The Art League will also offer free hands-on kids’ art projects with artist and Art League instructor Steve Prince throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
