The award-winning Theater Arts Program at Bishop Ireton High School is delighted to introduce some nostalgia – and family fun! – into this spring with its production of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, a musical based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz with a book by John Gordon and music and lyrics by Clark Gesner.
You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown tells the story of an average day in the life of Charlie Brown, comprised of moments from the title character’s everyday life as a six-year-old boy – from Valentine’s Day to baseball season, joy to despair. Everyone’s favorites, from Charlie Brown himself (Joey Ledonio ’15) to Lucy (Mim Blower ’12), Schroeder (Chris Adleson ’12), Linus (Jack Ladd ’13), and even Snoopy (Bruno del Alamo ’12), appear, stringing together a single day from uncertain morning to hopeful evening. You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown is a youthful, energetic musical that promises excitement, high-spirited music, and fun for all generations!
